April Carter

My name is April Carter and I am currently working on getting my Bachelor’s in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Security. I feel like it has taken me forever to get to my final year here at the University of South Florida, but I have learned a lot from all of my experiences. I’m also proud to say that despite still being in school I’ve been able to push myself to do more. With doing so I have been able to achieve both my A.S. in Computer Programming & Application as well as my Computer Programming Specialist College Credit Certificate.

My very busy work and school life doesn’t leave very much time for hobbies anymore but when I do have a break, I play in my company’s volleyball and softball leagues. I am proud to say that this class has allowed me to see just how HTML markup works.

Here are some more fun facts about me:

• I have never been out of the United States.
• I plan on going for a Master's degree in Hospitality Management in the near future.
• I am the oldest of two girls in my family.
• I recently just got inducted into the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society.
